Inventions That Came Out of Science Fair Projects

Some great things have resulted from science fair projects.

Open house science fair time, is a time of year that is loved by all parents and thoroughly anxious students to voice what cool things they have completed. Science fairs always serve an educational purpose, as they help provide scientific data and perform experiments to back up claims or compare and contrast efficiency. Some of the following projects are some of the most superb and interesting projects all with a heavy emphasis and light on the scientific aspect of learning:

1) Prototype for Autonomy: Pathway for the Blind
a. An individual created a device that helps visually impaired individuals by allowing them to navigate using GPS when the device is on.

2) Sign Translator
a. Gave rise to the creation of a glove, so that mute individuals could relay their thoughts, requests, or need for something to anyone, even if they don’t understand sign language. The glove understands and transmits sign language into big letters that can be read on the glove.

3) Determining Carbon Nanotubes' Thermodynamic Solubility: The Missing Link to a Practical Super Material?
a. This individual managed to explain to many individuals the possible applications of using nanotubes to one day reach the moon!
