Astronomy Science Fair Projects

Science fair projects generally incorporate food, plants, animals, or a combination of one or more. Unfortunately, what we don’t see more of is science fair projects that use Astronomy. Perhaps the reason being that astronomy is not on the earth, or it may be an intimidating subject of studies for individuals who are not necessarily too conscious of the world above ours. Astronomy science fair projects don’t have to be intimidating or scary in any sense, instead by looking up some various ideas and following some simple and easy instructions, you are sure to land amongst the stars when it comes to the judges and your grade. Here are some various ideas for possible projects:
- How to make your own accurate sun dial.
- Why does the moon vary in its fullness and volume?
- How soon after the sun sets does the sky become dark?
There are thousands of various projects that can be done to incorporate astronomy into your next science fair project. Using astronomy for your science fair project is a great way to ensure some diversity amongst your opponents and possibly give an advantage. Astronomy is a fun way to incorporate science and various sciences regarding the sun, moon, stars, gravity, and other concepts of astronomy.
