The radish plants near a magnet will grow shorter and lean towards the magnet. The radish plants that are not near a magnet will grow straight and taller.

One groups of radish plants were grown with magnets next to each plant. Another control group was grown without magnets. Grow light and watering conditions were kept the same. This student's hypothesis was incorrrect with results that may surprise you! An excellent project that is interesting and isn't too difficult.
